On Thursday 22 March 2018, Australia Awards Vanuatu hosted the annual alumni networking event. The event was originally launched in 2016 and received great interest. This year the event hosted over 80 Alumni of the prestigious Vanuatu Australia Awards alumni network. Among the alumni were some of Vanuatu’s best and brightest leaders and young professionals from various fields and backgrounds, across government, private and community sectors. The network aims to create an environment for likeminded professionals to share ideas and build relationships that will support their efforts to make a significant and lasting difference in Vanuatu. Keynote speakers at the event included the Australian High Commissioner to Vanuatu, Ms. Jenny Da Rin and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and External Trade, Mr. Ralph Regenvanu. The keynote speakers officially welcomed the newly graduated students from 2017 and facilitated the voting and announcement of the 2018 alumni committee.
